Enabling Action Host Commands on Ender 5 S1

What is the problem?

Printer ran out of filament, noticed the info message that says:
Your printer's firmware supports host action commands, but they are disabled. The firmware will not inform OctoPrint about job pause & cancellations, filament runouts, and similar firmware-side events. If you want this functionality, you need to change your firmware's configuration.

Wanting to get this enabled on an Ender 5 S1

What did you already try to solve it?

Tried researching for any guides, only found someone asking here, but never responding to the person offering to help modify the firmware and config files.

Have you tried running in safe mode?

Additional information about your setup

OctoPrint version, OctoPi version, printer, firmware, browser, operating system, ... as much data as possible

Stock firmware on creality ender 5 s1

Hello @ahoopes !

On way is to do the changes in the firmware and recompile it.

Or you take one from Marlin. Anyhow, you have to compile it too.

Maybe somewhere in the wild is someone with a ready to run hex file.
