Ender 3 communication timeouts / disconnects

What is the problem?

Printer Disconnecting from OctoPrint (or computer?)

What did you already try to solve it?

I have run several different cables with ferite magnets or not. Tried with different OS. Different USBC hubs nothing seems to prevent the printer disconnecting.

Have you tried running in safe mode?

Yes

Did running in safe mode solve the problem?

No

You can download this in OctoPrint's System Information dialog ... no bundle, no support!)

Additional information about your setup

Very simmilar to Getting urb stopped: -32 error for months, out of ideas on what to try - #13 by Nelson524 but this didn't seem to help me.

This has been a problem for a month ever since I attempted to set up octoprint on this Macbook. I originally tried using MacOS to run it but it started disconnecting and having serial usb problems. I installed Ubuntu on it and seemed to have better luck at first (after removing brltty). Then it started having the same issues. I've used 4 different USBC hubs with the machine including a powered dock. I'm not using octoprint to fully host prints because of this so I have only run SD Card prints. Atleast then I don't loose hours / days of progress. I think the issue might be on the Linux side but it might be a bit out of my league. I watch dmesg | grep USB and find as soon as I get
ch341-uart ttyUSB0: usb_serial_generic_read_bulk_callback - urb stopped: -32
OctoPrint starts throwing communication timeouts. I did also try taping the 5v pin and not taping the 5v pin on the various usb cables I used. Here is a copy of a full report from dmesg | grep USB just incase:
