Ender 3 with octopi on a pi4

What is the problem?

just getting into printing with octopi and was there a way to get it to boot from a hard drive like you can with raspbery pi desktop

What did you already try to solve it?

Have you tried running in sano

Did running in safe mode solve the problem?

Systeminfo Bundle

You can download this in OctoPrint's System Information dialog ... no bundle, no support!)

Additional information about your setup

OctoPrint version, OctoPi version, printer, firmware, browser, operating system, ... as much data as possible

You can flash the OctoPi image to a hard drive that plugs in via USB in the same way that you can with RPi OS.

will thr pi reconise the usb at boot up

Yes, it does

Thanks for that do i just down load it to the hdd or do i have to copy the image to it

It works the same way that flashing to an SD card does. It also works the same way that flashing RPi OS does.

Will try thanks
