Enabling Host Action Commands on ender 5 s1 and how do I even open the bin file, and where can I find the right bin file to edit.

Ender 5 S1, stock firmware. Latest update Octoprint

You have to either compile your own firmware or find a community build with this feature enabled.

If you feel comfortable compiling your own firmware (you have to edit 1-2 config files, but you can use a template config for your printer which makes it easier) let me know.
