Error updating python2 to 3

i'm trying to update my octoprint without making backup, flash sd, etc..
so i followed the guide for updating script, but seems ther's some error resolving the adress or certification.
that's the command i gave:

curl -L https://get.octoprint.org/py3/upgrade.py --output upgrade.py python3 upgrade.py

i'm on 1.7.3

They are two separate commands, and need to be on two separate lines exactly as written in the post.
