Extruder Not Heating at Expected Rate - Creality Ender 3 Pro w/Big Tree Tech SKR Mini E3 v2.0

What is the problem?

When I try to print anything the extruder and bed will heat as expected, and when the printing actually begins, the extruder will stop being heated, which leads to a "Extruder not heating at expected rate" error, as shown below from my printer's output:

Recv: !! Heater extruder not heating at expected rate

Before you tell me this is a hardware issue, please note that I just recently switched from using Marlin and I've never had this happen before. Also note that the extruder does heat to a full 175Β° C, then simply stops staying at that temperature.

What did you already try to solve it?

I have:

  • Looked over my config
  • Looked over the GCode file
  • Printing in safe mode
  • Googled it
  • Asked on a Discord server

Have you tried running in safe mode?

Yes, and I experienced the same behaviour.

Did running in safe mode solve the problem?

Nope.

My printer:
I use a Creality Ender 3 Pro with a Big Tree Tech (BTT) SKR Mini E3 v2.0 motherboard and a BTT SFS v2.0 filament runout sensor. Those are the only hardware changes that make a difference in my printer.
Here's my printer's configuration file.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Whoops. Thanks. I'll repost this in their forum, but before this is closed, I want to try changing my Klipper configuration a bit to relax the verify heater setting and see if that fixes it. If it doesn't, I'll open a topic there and link it here, then close this one.

Alright, I experimented with the verify_heater section, and while I got past that hurdle in a way, now I've found even more issues. I opened the new topic here: Creality Ender 3 Pro w/Big Tree Tech SKR Mini E3 v2.0 Extruder Heating Issues - General Discussion - Klipper. I'll go ahead and close this one.
