First, filament not extruding, then web camera issues, now nothing works :(

What is the problem?

Initially the filament wouldn't extrude when sent from Octoprint, so I started just putting the files on a card and just monitoring from Octoprint. now the Logitech C270 HD Webcam has stopped working as well and I can't send files or monitor.

What did you already try to solve it?

Safe Mode

Have you tried running in safe mode?

Yes

Did running in safe mode solve the problem?

No

I think there is something wrong with the serial connection to your printer - probably a bad usb cable.
Try another cable - preferably a quality cable with ferrite beads.

Can't help you with the webcam because you didn't upload a systeminfo bundle.
Need more information

octoprint-systeminfo-20220331211921.zip (84.9 KB)
Sorry I didn't include that the first time, PrintedWeezl. New to both Octoprint and the support forums.
That said, that sort of resolved itself after I rebooted Octoprint. And I'll try a different cord, see if maybe that'll help. (edited to remove a stupid question)

Update on this issue. Bought a new usb cable with ferrite beads. Having the same issue where the print begins, yet no filament extrudes. Including the latest system info if that helps. Thanks so much for your trouble!

Do you have octolapse configured for dry run mode?

Sorry, I have no idea what that means- so I don't know, jneilliii. Certainly not a setting I intentionally set.

I just know that I've seen people say similar comments about print movement but no extrusion in discord and it was almost always that setting in octolapse. I don't use it, so not sure where the setting actually is.

Thanks for uploading the bundle. You do have Octolapse installed (along with numerous other plugins) but you did report that Safe Mode didn't fix the problem, so that probably eliminates the Octolapse "test mode" setting as the culprit.

I suggest that you spend some time familiarizing yourself with the plugin settings menus for the plugins you have installed. Then pick one problem (like filament not extruding) and lets see if we can solve that. I'd also suggest that you open separate topics for each issue. With good titles and information (some duplicated, some specific), not only might we solve your issues but we might provide solutions to others in the future.
