What is the problem?

Device is listed in USB devices but isn't available for use as webcam / Octolapse.

What did you already try to solve it?

checked lsusb ( see above )
Checked camera on windows machine. confirmed operational.
Checked libcamera-hello --list-camera - nothing listed

Have you tried running in safe mode?

No - not as yet. Currently have a print task running

Did running in safe mode solve the problem?

Additional information about your setup

OctoPrint 1.9.3 Build 2023.10.09.154319 with "camera-streamer", based on OctoPi 1.0.0, running on Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Rev 1.1
Printer Prusa MK3S+, Firmware 3.13.1
Browsers( Edge/Chrome/Firefox ) all current up to date.
OS Windows 11 23H2 - 22635.3350 / Windows 10 22H2 - 19045-4170

Try changing your camera stream format to MJPG in the config file

That does appear to have done it. After a few failed camera-streamer restarts, usb cable removals and stopping camera-streamer, waiting a handful of seconds, starting and plugging the camera back in, it sprang into life.
Thank you.
Now time to configure some funky time lapse.
