Gcode Viewer preferences

It seems there is no posibillity to save the setting for GcodeViewer.
Iwould like to have prevered setting without changing every time.
So I like to have

  • zoomed on Model
  • not to show movings an retracts
  • also show previous layer

Each time when I start the function old setting is active..
I use version 1.3.10 with a wanhao duplicator i3.
Is there a ini-file to save settings or can I make it?

Hi folks,

I would like to join this request. Just having learned that chosen options aren't yet stored in an *.ini (resp. *.yaml-) file (see here) I suggest to change this behaviour. It would be great storing the chosen options in config.yaml in a future release.

I decided to continue this old conversation because typing the headline for an intended new conversations leads me to this place.

Thanks for reading and perhaps further improving this great software.

Like the OP mentioned: What OctoPi/OctoPrint versions are you using?

I believe the Gcode Viewer IS preserving the chosen options. Please open a new Get Help topic and fill in the template because if it isn't working for you, it will require more details for us to figure out how to help.
