Get message on smart phone if out of filament

I would like to get a message on my smart phone if the 3d printer runs out of filament (or I habe to change filament).
The prusa firmware dose a good job when you in front of the printer. But if I don't know how long the current filament spool lasts. It would be handy if I have to check every some minutes but get a message on my smartphone.

Is this possible without hardware changes? I'm happy what the prusa printer firmware does when I'm in front of the machine. If possible I would like to keep this functionality.

I googled and searched the forum of octoprint and prusa but could not find an answer.

Best Regards
