Getting a Mimo Touch 2 to work with OctoPi

What is the problem?

Me! I am really a beginner at RaspberryPi and have no clue if the install of the touch-screens drivers that I have bought (used) for a new RPi 4 will mess up OctoPi?

The touch screen is a "Mimo Touch 2" and they have some instructions on their web - but it is published in 2014 and I guess that there have been some advances since.

My main question is this (if I manage to do it) - will it mess up the OctoPi-installation?

It want me to replace these files and folders: (see further info (here))

-kernel.img

- /etc/X11/Xorg.conf
- /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-evdev.conf
- /lib/firmware
- /lib/modules

...but will that work or mess-up a OctoPi 0.18.0rc1-installation?

Or will it work at all?

What did you already try to solve it?

I contacted Mimo - but they said that the information from 2014 on their webpage is the latest version available. They had no further information.

Have you tried running in safe mode and if so did it solve the issue?

No logs - since this is a pre-installation question.

Additional information about your setup

OctoPrint version, OctoPi version, printer, firmware, browser, operating system, ... as much data as possible

I have etched "OctoPi 0.18.0rc1" on the SD-card that I plan to get this to work with.
I´m not sure if this i relevant to my question since I have no problem with the printer - but I will replace a previous OctoPrint that I use on my Prusa MK3s. But I have never had problems with setting that up.
