I am just wondering if there is a way to hook up octopie to google home. I am hoping to do a few commands for it to stop, print, preheat, move the head or to ask for stuff like "how much time is left" or "what the current temp is".
I did something similar with Alexa.
Google Home should be similar, in theory. One of the hurdles involves the fact that something in the cloud needs to talk to your printer (in a secure manner without just port-forwarding to it). Gina has suggested haproxy before but I wrote my own firewall proxy.
