Help with making a plugin or creating a new server on same octopi installation

What is the problem?

I want to start an apache server on the same raspberry pi as octoprint, will that cause any issues?
I have tried finding a plugin to control my LED strips but I can't seem to find one that works. Now I would love to make a plugin, but the guide I'm following makes an HTML server. If there's a way I can easily make a plugin for octoprint using the HTML thing as a backbone, I would love that. However, if not I will just run a separate server to control my LED lights.

And I specifically want to use pigpio, which can also work with python.

What did you already try to solve it?

I tried a bunch of plugins and tried learning how to make plugins. I need more help/time.

I would love to make that work, but it keeps crashing my octoprint.
