Host action command sd printing and filament run out issues

What is the problem?

WRITE HERE
i am trying to make sure that i get a time lapse of my print I want to make sure that the filament sensor and everything works when I print it though because it is a 4 day long print so if anything goes wrong i want my printer to be able to stop itself! i have tried some test prints after turning on host action control, the sensors now work but if the print fails due to filament run out it doesn't go back to printing the file after reloading filament. i received a m112 shutdown code after trying to resume print. is there some adjustments i need to make in marlin?

What did you already try to solve it?

EDIT: after putting into safe mode should have tried before asking it has now started working properly looking at the log it looks like its octoeverywhere having communication errors, not sure what the problem is there or how to fix it. I am trying again with safe mode off to see if things changed for some reason.
EDIT 2: i have isolated it to octoeverywhere which i would appreciate to work with this project so i can monitor when im not at home as its a 4 day print and i dont want to risk it. I deleted my plugin and ran it without it installed and everything works as it should. I then reinstalled it and the problems returned even after a fresh setup of the printer in octoeverywhere. these are the logs from retrying with out safe mode, this time the printer when paused homed itself and then started traveling back to where it canceled from and then continued to go back and forth until it timed out and failed. any ideas?

Have you tried running in safe mode?

WRITE HERE
yes

Did running in safe mode solve the problem?

WRITE HERE
it allows me to reload filament and it looks like it resumes properly while in safe mode

@Jewk_Me :

When you do things to change something, please always post the result in a new post and do not edit the initial one. People get confused of what you have done or not.

Also, always format your code as Preformatted Text, else things can get lost.

i ran in safe mode before this problem and forgot to do it this time, i ran it in safe mode shortly after posting and updated, I'm sorry I am new to this and learning as I go.

octoprint-logs(5).zip (3.5 MB)
ive determined it is not octoprint either. i disabled and uninstalled the plugin and I am still having the issues this is log 5. restarted the pi and tried again, here is the log running from safe mode where the problem continues to be persistent.
octoprint-logs(9).zip (3.6 MB)

Please always upload the systeminfo bundle.
And please do make further changes to your initial post! We don't want to read the complete thread again and again. Put your discoveries to a new post.

So, the runout was detected correctly by the printer and by OctoPrint.

What gcode scripts do you have in OctoPrint at

  • After print job is paused

and

  • Before print job is resumed

there are no scripts for before print is paused or after print resumed.

The M112 has nothing to do with the filament runout.

This after resuming:

No one can tell why the printer is doing this.

would it be something to do with my marlin build? i was testing the runout feature repeatedly during those tests usually about 3 times per so not sure if thats something that was causing something weird to happen. is there anything specific i should try and then report logs of the outcome?

BTW: Does the printer turn bed and hotend off when a filament runout occurs?

Just saw: It does not turn off.

is it a problem with saving the coordinates at failure? I'm trying to learn what the code is saying so that I can try and troubleshoot it myself when problems arise. do you think i should do a fresh marlin build and setup my octopi again? do you think the fresh marlin flash is part of the communication problem from octoprint?
