How to connect a usb webcam in octopi?

What is the problem?

I am unable to connect the usb webcam to work in octoprint, I just connected the camera to the raspberry but nothing is showing

What did you already try to solve it?

Didnt figure anything to do

Ocotoprint Version 1.9.3, Build 2023.10.09.154319, based on OctoPi 1.0.0, running on Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Rev 1.2, Printer: Ender 3 V3 SE

Based on your other post, the same thing may well apply here - if you've used a backup from another platform you probably need to change the stream URL in OctoPrint to be like the below to access the webcam.

  • Stream URL: /webcam/?action=stream
  • Snapshot URL: http://127.0.0.1:8080/?action=snapshot
