I broke my server and need help (No knowledge about coding or using the terminal)

Problem
I was trying to shut down my raspberry pi since whenever I turn off the printer the pi keeps the lcd screen on. I thought I could use the shutdown system feature in octoprint to turn off the pi. Now my server is gone and I don't know how to fix it. I have no coding knowledge at all the server was setup by the person I bought the pi from.

What did you already try to solve it?

Restarting the server.
Unplugging the pi
Googling answers

Have you tried running in safe mode and if so did it solve the issue?

I can't access safe mode

The Pi should turn itself back on when you plug the power back in, and the red light is on with the green one flashing for a bit (its booting), before settling down. Does this happen?

Using the shutdown system feature is exactly what you want to do, should you want to unplug the Pi. Don't just pull the power on it before shutting down, but it sounds like you did it correctly

The pi and the server are working again. Not sure what happened thanks for your help!
