I upgraded to 1.5.2 adn now I cannot connect to my Printer

What is the problem?

After updating for latest 15.2 I cannot connect to my printer - Tevo Tornado.

What did you already try to solve it?

I formated the SD Card and did a new fresh install and I got the same result.

Have you tried running in safe mode?

No safe mode was tested.

Did running in safe mode solve the problem?

No

Additional information about your setup

OctoPrint version, OctoPi version, printer, firmware, browser, operating system, ... as much data as possible

Have you tried different USB cables and different USB ports? Some printer boards can be quite picky and will only work if everything is perfect for it. Sometimes certain ports or cables can have bad connections, which mean the printer is not detected.

Via SSH, you can run these commands after plugging in the printer to see if it is detected by the Pi:

lsusb - lists connected USB devices.
ls /dev | grep USB -i - will look for USB devices. If nothing is returned, then the Pi cannot detect the printer.

Set your baudrate to AUTO. 19200 is most likely wrong. OctoPrint sees your printer, but you have told it to only attempt to connect at 19200 baud. Most printers support 115200 or 250000, anything outside of those two is rare.

Well, I rebooted after the safe mode.. changed the cable to a new one, and then rebooted the printer..
I then plugged the USB and did a connect.

Sounds like either the cable was faulty or the printer's USB controller had a hiccup then.

And just for the record, the next time what we are looking for in such a case is a serial.log, not just blindly pasted but either attached or placed between "```" as generated by this button:

Please use that in the future when pasting logs, because otherwise things are just utterly unreadable. I fixed it in your past post, I'd prefer if you do it on your own from now on
