Inject custom implementation for self._printer into plugin

Hello!

I have an idea for custom plugin - I want to implement printer interface, but with custom connection via WIFI.
Can I somehow replace PrinterInterface with my implementation in plugin?
Or only way for me is a fork and change core code?
