What is the problem?
The problem is that the LCD is always on when plugged in to the RSP
What did you already try to solve it?
I tried to put tape and paper on the righter most usb pin (5V). I also printed out the usb no power for usb in thingyverse, but they both keep giving me and error saying somthing within the lines of “port not found”
Additional information about your setup
I have an Ender 3. With a Raspberry Pi 3B+. I have the latest octoprint firmware.
Hi @Stev.tox
In this case the printer mainboard gets power for the logic components via the USB from the RasPi. See here: LED panel stays lit when I turn off printer
