Load and Load&Print is not working in my octoprint

What is the problem?

I installed octoprint from scratch with the writer.
I am able to connect to the printer vertex k8400
i am able to set the temperature and move the hotend.
i see the files stored in the sd card, but i am not able to load nor to load & print them
i expect the printer to start when i clock on the small icon.

What did you already try to solve it?

started in safe mode
looked at the web console
looked into the logs but did recognize any issue

Have you tried running in safe mode?

yes

Did running in safe mode solve the problem?

no

Systeminfo Bundle

You can download this in OctoPrint's System Information dialog ... no bundle, no support!)
i have downloaded the systeminfo bundle and its available for share

Additional information about your setup

OctoPrint version, OctoPi version, printer, firmware, browser, operating system, ... as much data as possible

i use version 1.8.1

please let me know how to debug this issue.
i am new to octoprint if it does not yield any additional value i dont yet see much benefit yet.

Hello @gsohler !

Where is it?

You can upload it into your next post.

When a file is on the printers SD card, the printer start to print that file initiated by OctoPrint.
Usually you upload your files to OctoPrint and print it from there.
You start a print by pressing the large Print button on the left side

You also can yuse the small one:

Hi,
i want to share my bundle now.
octoprint-systeminfo-20220725231651.zip (22.3 KB)

hope it works

Hi,
Now i uploaded a gcode file which is a temp tower. it took about 5 minutes to upload.
i see the file uploaded, but i cannot print it.
i tested the small icon on the file and i tested the big "Print" Button.
However my print button is blue, not green.

maybe the file is not printable because the extension is wrong(its *.GCODE) maybe an problem of the filename, it contans a ~ character due its storage ?

The file name & extension will be OK - this is how files are reported from the SD card without long file name support. They are 8.3 format, xxxxxx~1.GCO.

My guess is that the command to start the print is rejected from the printer.

Can you either a) enable the serial.log, reproduce the issue and upload the log file or b) open the terminal tab, and copy & share the contents of the terminal after you have pressed the 'print' button, to see what is being sent to the printer.
