Logitech Webcam C270 stopped working on octopi update

What is the problem?

I have a RPI3B running octopi with a Logitech Webcam C270 that have been working flawlessly for 5 years. For reasons I just made a full re-install of octopi (new underlying debian)

The webcam unfortunately seems to have stopped working.

What did you already try to solve it?

The usb camera is found:

Any help highly appreciated!

The new octopi uses the Bullseye version of Debian in the PiOS. it no longer uses raspicam for the camera libraries, it uses libcam. Any reference needs changed. Also others have posted webcamd wouldn't work and had to use a different streaming package

This is not applicable for USB cameras.

What device is the camera at? v4l2-ctl --liste-devices should show it. It's normally /dev/video0 which is why that is the default, but it's possible that's something else on your setup for some reason.
