Looking for a start--would this work?

Spent enough recently so I've been looking for used R-Pi's around, this came across the transom, do you think it would work?

Looks like a Raspberry Pi model B, as in: Raspberry Pi nr. 1. The recommended Raspberry Pi to get is Raspberry Pi 3B, 3B+ or 4.

You could as well use an old laptop or pc (well at least if they are not 30 years old  )

If you want to not lose prints, invest in the hardware to make that so.

Thanks for your time. Just keeping a look out!

I know, I'm working on it. If I don't find something for rehabbing I'll have saved eventually.

Thanks for your time again, just ordered a Pi 3b+ cana kit so I'll just start properly and build this out nice.

I've been coding against a Pi4B over the last month and it's amazingly-faster than the earlier 3B that I was using. I'm very pleased with the difference the investment has made for this. You're going to love the 3B+; it's a better platform and faster.
