Monoprice Select Mini v2: Issues with starting 2nd print after 1st?

What is the problem?

So, ...first of all, hello guys and gals  but to the issue, my printer can successfully connect, and do it's first print, HOWEVER... it seems that I have to manually set the heaters for both the bed and hot end prior to starting most prints (especially 2nd prints), in order to not encounter an annoying glitch. The glitch is this:

If I do not preheat the hotend via the control interface built into the printer, the screen on the front, then try to start a print via Octoprint, the hotend heater is not adjustable. In other words, if I enter "215 C" as the temp for the hotend in the Octoprint dash and hit enter, it just goes back to 0 degrees and ignores the input. I have found this issue to be more frequent after a print has completed, for whatever reason.

The main thing to note is, that this issue concerns only the hot end temp setting, and that it is mostly only occurring after a print has completed, however it does occur before any print has been attempted/completed (after having JUST turned on the power to the printer) on some occasions.

What did you already try to solve it?

I have tried only changing the cooldown timer at the end of prints from 5 minutes to 0 seconds, since I read that this printer's default Cura profile applies a 5 minute cooldown. This allows me to start another print in Octoprint immediately, however it never actually starts because the hot end temp will not allow me to adjust it. (It stays at ambient temp, if I type in a number like "215 C" then it just immediately goes right back to "0" in the dash.

Have you tried running in safe mode?

Nope. Don't know how and I doubt it would be helpful.

Did running in safe mode solve the problem?

N/A

Additional information about your setup

I'm sorry for my noobie-ness, I'm just feeling like this must be a stupid issue that was encountered before but NO amount of searching (for literal hours on Google and DuckDuckGo and various Reddit subs) have returned any results. PLEASE let me know if there's more info I need to provide and how. Thank you so much!

Please upload the complete zip file. That is why it is called bundle.

Well, if the printer never finishes a print, it won't let you start the next. My thinking...
Your print end code, either in the slicer or in OctoPrint is sending a M109 S0 to kill the heater. So it waits until the Hotend freezes... Find out where the M109 is coming from and change it to a M104 S0.
