There's no specific 'user manual' that takes you through everything you need to know. Something like that would quickly become a pain to maintain as it became outdated. Instead, you need to be open to research, learning and experimenting.
You've made your way to the community forums - there's lots and lots of info around here for specific questions you can search through. Search for OctoPrint on YouTube, there's loads of videos all over the place there. Lots of other random articles on the internet covering 'getting started with OctoPrint' too.
Don't be afraid to have a search for your questions - most new products come with a 'quick start guide' that is along the lines of 'plug it in and turn it on', then tell you to go online and search for more information - it is probably saving them printing costs.
