Hello @Carls_Zarigata !

Obviously it is.

I'll recommend making a backup and make a new installation with OctoPi 0.18.1.

when i go into SSH and type python it goes to 3.5.....

Python 2 and Python 3 can be installed side-by-side. You happen to start Python3 when logged in via SSH, but the system is still running OctoPrint with Python 2.

NB: Even if you were to uninstall Python 2 from your Pi (keeping only Python 3) without doing anything else, OctoPrint would still be running using Python 2, because OctoPrint is typically run from inside a "virtual environment", which is basically a local copy of Python (which in your case is still set up to use Python 2). In order to make OctoPrint run with Python 3 it does not suffice to install Python 3; you have to rebuild the virtual environment using Python 3.
