it cant be off line as i can still log into it
keeps doing it about the same time in to the print..
any ideas thnaks very much
this is on a ender 3
thnaks very much indeed

Ender 3 printers are very sensetive when it comes to emi.
Is there any machine like a fridge or something nearby that could cause this?

There are a few things that worked for me like a better usb cable and shielding the mainboard box with tin foil.

hey thanks what does it mean the code ?
yer its in the shed with a freezer
why does it do it, works fine just printing from SD card

EMI means electromagnetic interference. Basically any large appliance such as fridge or freezer that has a motor it is 'electronically' noisy. The serial cable that comes with the printer is often cheap and can cause issues.

Also check it does not come loose or move at all, it could be that at a specific part the printer moves/shakes and the cable comes loose.

i will have a look into it and have a move about as i have got the cables right next to the freezer
