Anyone have tips for getting the phone to actually connect to the printer? I have an ender 3, about half the time (probably less) octo4a fires up, printer says it's connected and I can actually access everything from the computer. The rest of the time octo starts up and it just sayd "connect with the otg" sic. Eventually when it connects, it works about half the time.
Right now I have the server up, it says the printer is connected, but going through the web server it won't autodected the printer.
Could not autodetect your printer
No working connection parameters could be found. Are you sure your printer is physically connected and supported? Refer to the FAQ for help in debugging this."
I can see through the camera but there is no talking going on between the phone and the printer itself. I've tried restarting both items repeatedly but nothing is happening except I'm getting irritated.
I just set up my old LG G6 with a MUR 460 upgrade as Octoprint server and wanted to share my experience.
I successfully installed on Havoc OS with A11 and got the corrupt installation message after setting everything up and runnjng successfully. But when rebooting the error came. I tried a lot mentioned here but nothing worked except giving the server a static ip via router.
I don't know if this was really the solution but now it works without problems. Hope it helps.
Does anybody else have error "RunTime error : invalid GMT offset" when installing new version? I have a phone dedicated to this and has clean android 14 and Get this error - i tried to set up time manually but still...
I just installed this super app on a Samsung Tab 8 and it works great to control me printer. The only issue that I have is that I can't seem to figure out how to load a print file from the sd card in the A8 into the Octoprint to be able to print it. Normally when use OctoPi on my desktop, I just drop the file into the file aera of OctoPi but I can't figure out how to do it in the app. I'm 82 so that could well be the reason I'm having problems. Any help would be appreciated.
I have an old Nokia c100, and I came across Octo4A. I set everything up, and everything went smoothly until I tried actually connecting to my Ender 3 v1 with a motherboard v2.4.7. It wouldn't connect, even when changing baud rate and port to auto. Pretty sure it's my phone, but I want to know if there is any hope of using it.
What did you already try to solve it?
Increasing timeout, changing my OTG USB-C hub, putting tape on the 5v pin.
