I just installed octopi onto the sd card for the 4th try. I plugged the sd into the rasberry pi (4b) and plugged in the power. It then gets stuck in an infinite loop where it keeps rebooting for as long as i let it run, without amything changing
What did you already try to solve it?
Ive changed the power cables, formattwd the sd card and reinstalled the os 4 times
Have you tried running in safe mode?
Not yet
Additional information about your setup
Raspberry pi 4b
Ender 3v2
I have a video of the issue thats too big to upload here.
As near as i can tell, its an issue with either all the sd cards i tried (3 total) or the board itself. Any ideas or advice are welcome
Give us some more detail. I know you are getting frustrated, but how about a step-by-step of what you do when you say "installed octopi onto the sd card".
I used raspberry pi imager to install. Entered 'octopi' as the hostname, double checked that the network name, password, and country were all correct, set the new username / password for the board, and enabled ssh keys. It installed and verified without any issues.
Which type of sd card(s) did you use? There can be big differences in performance between brands.
Did you use an official power supply for your Pi4? There is a minimum power requirement at boot. And you mentioned constant reboots.
Can you try to connect the Pi via ethernet? Ethernet can simplify network connectivity for troubleshooting because it is mostly plug and play without all the problems that can arise with WiFi, like interference, network coverage, frequency bands, security/encryption settings and so on.
