Octopi ws2812b plugin issues

My problem is that I'm trying to use two ws2812b leds that are on my hot end. They don't seem to respond correctly to any led commands as far as colors go. One will be bright blue and the other will be green. e

I tried swapping out the LEDs thinking maybe my soldering iron was too hot, but the issue stays.

I tried an 10 LED strip that I know works fine, and it works perfectly no issues at all.

but when i plug back in the two, it goes back to being weird.

Could be a few things. For example:

  • Wrong configuration of the leds (not every led is rgb - some got an other color order)
  • insufficient power supply
  • bad / wrong cabling
