Octoprint and Ubuntu

Hi,

I am new to 3D printing and i freaking love it. And of course, like everyone else, i want to monitor my printer with a webcam.

I have a Beebox computer with Ubuntu on it. Will Octoprint work with it together with a webcam? And if so, which webcam do you recommend?

Please let me know. I am learning and waiting for your answer :slight_smile:

Yes, it will work, assuming the performance is enough. The install steps for Ubuntu should be pretty similar to the RPi OS guide, you will just have to substitute your username in each of the steps where it is required.
