"octoprint is currently not running"

What is the problem?

I am trying to run octoprint to my 3d printer but it shows that "octoprint is not currently running"

What did you already try to solve it?

i have zero coding experience and have no clue what any of the forms on here are talking about all i did was try to open my local octoprint server and it showed the message i need a step by step explaining how to fix PLEASE

Have you tried running in safe mode?

Did running in safe mode solve the problem?

Systeminfo Bundle

You can download this in OctoPrint's System Information dialog... no bundle, no support, unless the reason you couldn't retrieve the bundle is your network issues

Additional information about your setup

Hardware you are trying to connect to, hardware you are trying to connect from, router, access point, used operating systems, ... as much data as possible

Gonna need a 'bit' more info... We don't expect anyone to have 'coding' experience, but we do expect people to be able to read. You apparently read how to install OctoPrint on some device. It would be nice to know what device that was. And what printer you have.
It must have installed or you would not have gotten that message.

i have a Ender3 v2 i use windows and installed it last time via ssd card to my raspberry pi. i installed python and attempted to paste the codes in but i still dont really understand it. i had it installed and working for a few months then went on a trip and came back to an error message, now when i load in today it says the site cannot be reached.

Sentence 1. So you used an OctoPi Image on your Pi?
Sentence 2. I hope this is referencing the time before your trip and when it was working?
Sentence 3. Do you leave your Pi powered all the time? (I do.)
You could have just had a power loss and trashed your SD card.
You said you use Windows so you probably don't have an OctoPrint backup file. Easiest thing will probably be to re-image the OctoPi and set up your server again. If you do have a Backup, it will restore all your settings and plugins. (If you don't, make sure you do a backup after getting it running again!) Otherwise you have to do it all manually.

fiddled around with it and got it working thanks for your help!

Do a backup!
Settings(the wrench)->OctoPrint->Backup & Restore and then save it.
