What is the problem?
"No more candidates to test, and no working port/baudrate combination detected" error when trying to connect.
What did you already try to solve
I have tried different USB cables and different firmware. The USB connection to the printer is also visible when I run lsusb with the display name "QinHeng Electronics CH340 serial converter."

Yes.
Did running in safe mode solve the problem?

Additional information about your setup
Using a MacMini running OctoPrint with Ubuntu. The printer is ender-3 v2 running the professional firmware. I followed the OctoPrint linux install guide to set everything up.
