Octoprint plays catchup when browser window re-maximised

What is the problem?

Octopi 1 Octoprint 1.10.1 running on RPI4 4GB
COntroled from Edge browser (win 10)
When the browser window is minimized the updates seem to freeze as when it is maximised again Octoprint display plays catch up - Octoprint itself (i.e. the printer) continues fine.

This looks like this issue: backlog of "updates" is displayed in "fast forward" mode after getting back. · Issue #4991 · OctoPrint/OctoPrint · GitHub and is something that most (if not all) modern day browsers do for power/memory saving.
