Odd issue with Timelapse

Camera model

Not camera specific, camera is working fine

What is the problem?

For a while now, several months, almost randomly my octoPrint will stop attempting to grab the still images to generate a timelapse. In the OctoPrint log, even with debugging enabled for timelapse, it doesn't appear to be attempting/concurring at all.

What did you already try to solve it?

Enabled debugging on octoprint.timelapse to try to get an error message. Restarting Pi running OctoPrint temporarily seems to fix it

Have you tried running in safe mode?

I have not, no error message in log

Did running in safe mode solve the problem?

N/A

Additional information about your setup

OctoPrint version, OctoPi version, printer, firmware, browser, operating system, ... as much data as possible

Pi4 running Ubuntu 24.04 with OctoPrint 1.11.5 and Python 3.12.3

My cameras run from a separate LibreCompute Le Potato running Ubuntu 22.04.4 which grabs the still images and stitches them together and posts it to an Apache Web Server running on the Le Potato for me to view in my browser and for OctoPrint to wget/curl to produce the timelapse videos. Why the separate device, I found that sometime the image capture will get frozen on the camera and not actually grab new images and I am using a script to track that on the Le Potato and reboot when it occurs. If this was on the same device, I would have to wait for the print to finish and would not have a usable timelapse, and some of my prints run for multiple days.

I think it all started when I tried to switch from a Pi4 to a Le Computer to drive the printer and many troubleshooting hours later over several weeks where long prints would just randomly fail, I determined that there must be a USB issue on the Le Potato making it incompatible with my printer and moved back to the Pi4. I also had a MicroSD card get corrupted on me but was able to extract the .octoprint directory and reinstall everything else, maintaining my settings/achievements, but since then I have just used the built in backup/restore method.

I am not sure if it is worth renaming the .octoprint and OctoPrint VENV and doing a fresh setup/install, and if I did do that, I would like to keep my achievements and achievement stats as I am currently at 25/36 (should be higher, but for some reason can't get "What Could Possibly Go Wrong?" to trigger even when I purposely caused an undervolt issue and the undervolt icon was in the top bar).
