Official touchscreen not working

What is the problem?

I have an official 7" touchscreen which does not work when Octoprint is installed. The screen works fine when running stock raspberian. I tried installing Octodash and it comes up when a monitor is plugged in but not with the touch screen.

What did you already try to solve it?

Hello @ggt1_02 !

Do you run OctoPrint on raspianOS?
Or do you use OctoPi?
If yes: Have you installed the display drivers?

So many questions that could habe been answered with systeminfo bundle.

Thank you for the questions @Ewald_Ikemann, I will pull the systeminfo bundle later today.

Sorry for the terminology mix-up on my end. The system is running Octopi, installed using the Raspberry Pi Imager. When I looked into installing OctoPrint on raspianOS it seemed a bit above my current skill level.

I have searched for the drivers and cannot find them or much info on this screen for that matter. The vast majority of the info pertains to the 1st gen screen.
