Hello @Timmy_Lucaciu !

You should use a USB data cable instead of a USB power cable...

its a micro usb cable but it can transfer data aswell.....no?

Not all USB cables are data cables. Some are power + ground only and are used to charge devices. When one end is micro-USB the odds of it being a "charge-only" cable go up. The only way to know for sure is to test it.

Instead of plugging the micro-USB into your printer, try plugging into a cell phone or tablet. Before you plug it in, run dmesg. Plug your phone in and run dmesg again. If the cable has data lines, then there should be new lines added to the output. If not, then there's a very high probability that its a "charge-only" cable.
