Pi4b and Octoprint setup issue

What is the problem?

I install the SD Card in the Pi4 connected to an external 7'' screen because my Pi4 is only doing a grey screen on the 3.5'' lcd touchscreen. When I start, the program do his stuff but at the end, it's asking for a login password. There is NO keyboard attached and why the Pi screen is not recognized?

What did you already try to solve it?

try 6 times,

Have you tried running in safe mode?

No since it cannot

Did running in safe mode solve the problem?

No like previous answer

Systeminfo Bundle

You can download this in OctoPrint's System Information dialog ... no bundle, no support!)

Additional information about your setup

OctoPrint version, OctoPi version, printer, firmware, browser, operating system, ... as much data as possible

That's what is supposed to happen.
OctoPrint doesn't come with a local GUI - it's controlled via a web interface.

There were a few plugins to use a screen, but tbh I don't know if they're still maintened and working.
I guess the best you can do is to search on github for such plugins
https://github.com/search?q=octoprint%20screen&type=repositories

You probably didn't set it up in the config files in the boot partition and/or you need to install drivers for it.
Those gpio screens aren't plug and play.
Ask the place where you bought it for instructions

Another option would be this app

With it you can use a phone or tablet as screen

edit: it looks like GitHub - UnchartedBull/OctoDash: OctoDash is a simple, but beautiful dashboard for OctoPrint. is still maintained.
You might want to try that one
