What is the problem?

I am very new to Octoprint. I have installed OctoPrint version 1.3.13 on OctoPi version 0.17.0 on a raspberry pi 4. I have started Octoprint and can see my printer but I can not upload a file. When I click on upload I can see the progress bar going then a quick green banner on the progress bar saying saving but NO files are in the list. Where is it putting them

Have you tried running in safe mode and if so did it solve the issue?

first thing you should do is upgrade to octoprint 1.4.2 1.3.13 is an older version you should be able to do it from "software upgrade" in the tools.

1.3.13 doesn't exist. You probably mean 1.3.12.

The issue you are encountering has been fixed in 1.4.x. Please upgrade.

I hove resolved the problem. The problem is that the software between the ears is getting tooo old.

I noticed the the wrench Icon on the line with the Files title. I clicked it and found that I was showing only the files on the SD card. Removing that check mark or checking Only show local files fixed the problem.

Thanks for the tips to upgrade. I did the install from the download for octopi 0.17.0. I clicked the Up All from the Software button in the Settings and all I get is that it is up to date. For now I will stay on the learning curve that I am on untill the "software upgrade" in the tools upgrades me to 1.4.2.
