@ukgaz1987: Hi Gary - same printer same problem. I just noticed something odd though and would appreciate it if you could try this and we can evaluate if firmware or noob issue on my part or conceivably naff firmware..
- From the touchscreen tool-manual: home x+y axes
- then do the Z offset calibration (I use A4 nip method as suggested elsewhere)
and save it (set Z as zero) - then do the tool-manual-home x-y axes thing again
- ditto the Z offset calibration...
Has your Z axis offset increased since a second ago when you nipped it up in Z-Offset calibration? Mine did and by roughly 1mm hence manky blobs and print not sticking etc etc.
It basically seems to be ignoring the "set Z as zero" command else failing to set the config to nvm. Grr!
I've read that I can set gcode override of Z offset from cura, but quite the faff.
