Problem Upgrading

What is the problem?

I have OctoPrint 1.9.3 and Python 3.9.2 and every time I try to upgrade within the user interface it starts normally and upgrading to a certain point and then after a long time it fails and do a tineout and can't connect again. Tried several times but same reults, just idling and then time out!
Really frustrating! Any solution please?

Hello @Jens_Backman !

Sadly you deleted the template that asked for some vital information that help us to help you.

What do you try to upgrade?

Suggest that you check your memory usage and swap during the update. If you are running out of both, it can hang up. During major updates on my Orange Pi Lite I have to increase my swap space for it to take. The last major version update there was one python package that took up a lot of memory/swap space to complete.

Yes, there is a python serialization library that is used that has been rewritten in rust, that i cant compile on my old Pi, all it seems to be used for is storing some config files, pity they could stay on v1 of the package...
