I’ve used notepad ++all along
I could do it all over if you think it might help
When I first got the Pi it came with an SD card with an operating system and GUI preloaded. It worked great. Connected to the network went out to the internet with no problems. When it’s connected to the printer it’s less than 10 feet from the router.
I found my problem and can now connect. Where you edit you user id and PW, I didn't uncomment the word network. I really want to thank you for your help. I would still be pulling my hair out if you hadn't mentioned 0.17 won't work on an 8 gig Pi. Now I have to figure out how to and octoprint to the mix!
