Occasional restart needed
sudo systemctl restart camera-streamer (works).
My suggestion is that octoprint have a web button that sends that command, rather than having to SSH in to restart.
If you install the plugin https://github.com/synman/OctoPrint-SystemCommandEditor you can add the command. Note that systemctl isn't one of the commands in sudoers but service is.
Okay. I have also been having issues with the camera not being there, even when plugged in. I saw this topic and thought it would help. I installed the plugin and created the command. Where do I find it to use it?
I have ver 1.10.0 but don't see Restart webcam, just the first 4 items.
Have you correctly added the configuration? Can you share how you configured it so we can check it is right?
