rPi v 1.3

What is the problem?

I can't get the cam to work on the aforementioned configuration.
When launching rPi OS Bookworm it works immediately.
When launching rPi OS Bullseye (new cam stack) it's not working either.

I'm guessing it's just a configuration problem, but I don't no where to start.
Perhaps there is someone a detailed troubleshooting guide specifically related to octopi.

did you try the other image? (without the new stack)

Hi PrintedWeezl,
Yes, I started with Octopi Build 2023.05.23.082504 and that wasn't working already.
Then I moved on to the newer build (Oct-2023) with the same result.
It seems only Pi OS 'Bookworm' detects the cam right away.
Please let me know if I should post more printouts or settings.

It is pi 2 and 3B v 1.2 - both.

Just tested the latest new camera stack image on a pi 2 and 3
worked fine on both of them

I also got pretty much the same libcamera-hello output.

Try to stop the camera streamer with sudo systemctl stop camera-streamer and run libcamera-hello again.

This time it should be able to do something because the cam isn't in use by the streamer.

I followed your instruction (systemctl stop camera-streamer) and run "libcamera-hello" and I got the same output as you got, but no preview window.
What am I missing here?
I had expected to get an image displayed in the preview window.
