Running octo print on a raspberry pi with interface

im trying to use a raspberry pi to run octoprint ( works great) but i would like to add a touch screen to it so i can have control at my printer...... and Ideas I'm still a big NOOB at PI

You might look into TouchUI and OctoPrint-TFT.

I opted for an old monitor, usb keyboard and mouse..

You can also use an old cell phone or tablet with Nautilus, octopod or octoclient (these are the ones I know for IOS).
