Second User Can’t Control Printer

What is the problem?

My main user account can connect and print with no problems. I created a second account in the operator group, but the printer state information is never filled in and all print and control buttons are disabled.

What did you already try to solve it?

I tried adding the second user to the admin group and manually assigning all relevant permissions but still no luck.

Have you tried running in safe mode?

No.

Did running in safe mode solve the problem?

N/A?
