What is the problem?

Wanting to add a smart plug to my printer and turn on and off the printer using octoprint.

What did you already try to solve it?

I have looked up the octoprint power controls and saw the existing plugins available to control the smart plugs.

Have you tried running in safe mode?

No.

Did running in safe mode solve the problem?

Nope.

Systeminfo Bundle

You can download this in OctoPrint's System Information dialog ... no bundle, no support!)

Sorry not surre how to find that info.

Additional information about your setup

OctoPrint version, OctoPi version, printer, firmware, browser, operating system, ... as much data as possible

Octoprint Version 1.9.3
Sorry i am not providing all the info. I know enough to get into trouble.

IMO everything that runs tasmota

I would say the same because of the open source nature, and you can even purchase pre-flashed devices with that firmware already installed. I personally am using a TP-Link HS300 power strip and controlling it with my plugin, but have also used other tplink kasa devices in the past while developing the plugin.

I use TP-Link products and the TP-Link plugin. I have about a dozen smart plugs around the house including the TP-link 3 plug and 6 plug strips.
