[SOLVED] Mjepg stream to IOBroker VIS

Camera model -> Aiglam Webcam HD 1080P

Hello,
I would like to display snapshots of the webcam in the VIS of my IO Broker. This can be done via MJpeg.
When I enter the address http://IP Octopi:8080/, the page is not accessible.
In the OctoPrint settings with the test link (via localhost) it works.

I noticed that when I enter the command "sudo service webcamd status" in the console, the following is displayed:

pi@octopi:~ $ sudo service webcamd status

  • webcamd.service - the OctoPi webcam daemon with the user specified config
Loaded: loaded (/etc/systemd/system/webcamd.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled)
Active: active (running) since Fri 2021-02-26 17:53:36 CET; 6h ago
    Process: 427 ExecStart=/root/bin/webcamd (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS)
    Main PID: 462 (mjpg_streamer)
    Tasks: 3 (limit: 1938)
    CGroup: /system.slice/webcamd.service
    `-462 ./mjpg_streamer -o output_http.so -w ./www-octopi -n --listen 127.0.0.1 -i input_uvc.so -r 640x480 -f 10 -d /dev/video0

Here I noticed that the LocalHost (127.0.0.1) is listed under "HTTP Listen Address". Is that correct?

How can I access the MJepg stream of the webcam from another computer?

Additional information about your setup (Version 1.5.3, Version 0.18.0, running on Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Plus Rev 1.3)

To access the webcam stream on OctoPi on any device that is not OctoPi (not localhost), you need to go through the proxy as by default it is not accessible to external devices on port 8080 - as you spotted with the listen address.

Try http://IP/webcam/ instead.

Thank you very much,
has now worked perfectly.
I could insert both the stream and the snapshots into my VIS.

Here is a screenshot of my finished widget in the IO Broker VIS:

I have inserted the stream here via an IFrame.

Thanks
