Additional information about your setup

OctoPrint version 1.4.2 on a Raspberry Pi 4 4GB
Creality CR-6 SE,
Marlin 2.0.x,
Firefox,
Windows 10,

Just got my CR-6 yesterday, and decided to try and connect it to my OctoPrint install (that I've been using reliably for ~10 months) and noticed it will not display the "Actual" in the temperature tab. When I select a preheat temperature, or even input a custom value, the printer will heat to that temperature but it will not be displayed on the Octoprint screen. However, the temperature logging works perfectly fine, and reflects the current/past temps properly.

I guess it's the same problem as on the new ender 3.

Same here, I just got mine today and it really doesn't like to talk over the USB. I'm having to change all of my scripts for Simplfy3d none of them seem to work just right. I just installed the plugin in the other post and it seems to fix the problem.

Changelog for latest version of firmware indicates that Creality has enabled temperature reporting to Octoprint.
