Total Newb trying first setup. connection failures

What is the problem?

Unable to connect. to brand new prusa mk3s+ . Maybe I need to enable something on the prusa?

What did you already try to solve it?

not much. rebooted pi a few times. rebooted printer a few times. hit the connect button a few times. connection keeps failing.

Have you tried running in safe mode?

yes

Did running in safe mode solve the problem?

no

Additional information about your setup

OctoPrint version, OctoPi version, printer, firmware, browser, operating system, ... as much data as possible
1.7.0. I had been running 1.6.X, and upgraded to 1.7.0 but never tried connecting previously. like i said, just finished building the prusa yesterday. i wonder if i have to enable something on the prusa side I'm running octopi on a raspberry pi 4B. I've tried plugging int bothto the usb3 and usb 2 ports, but no love. I've tried safe mode, i've tried rebooting both the printer and the pi a few times.

My logs don't give much:

Looks like it WAS something in the prusa menu. i had to turn OFF "rasp Pi connection". Who knew?

That is one of the most confusing settings a printer manufacturer has created

I blame the Raspberry Pi organization for not creating a Zero W Plus with a multi-core CPU and two to four times the memory

Then Prusa's solution of embedding an RPi would be viable.
