Trying new octopi - never see octopi.local on my network

What is the problem?

Had octopi 1.0 something installed and kept getting message about python being out of date. What I could find told me to download the new octopi image and use it. After setting it up and booting I never see octopi.local. Can't ssh to it, can't open it in a browser. it says octopi.local is unknown.

What did you already try to solve it?

Recreated image on different microsd and made sure I had edited the wifi.nmxxxx file.

Have you tried running in safe mode?

Don't know how to do that when I can't ssh to the pi.

Did running in safe mode solve the problem?

N/A

Systeminfo Bundle

You can download this in OctoPrint's System Information dialog ... no bundle, no support!)

Unable to ssh to pi so I can't get the information

raspberry pi zero 2 w and 1.1.0-1.11.3 version of octopi came from their website. I wish I could be more specific and provide everything you want but with no ssh access to the pi I can't get anything. Used just downloaded raspberry pi imager to burn the iso to the microsd.

I had similar issue. For me even after a reflash same issue. I rebooted my router and all of a sudden it started to work. So either it was a coincidence or my router was just confused and a reboot reset everything back to normal for it.

octopi.local is configured by the Bonjour service.

You should be able to setup the WiFi credentials (and country) in the Raspberry Pi Imager. Also select Enable SSH under Services.

If the RPi connects to WiFi, then it should have a local IP address. If your router has a web interface, you should be able to verify it there. Note: Make sure your router is configured to allow connected devices to see each other. You can connect to http://ip.add.re.ss instead of http://octopi.local.

If it does not connect to WiFi, then you may need a micro HDMI cable and an HDMI monitor for troubleshooting.

Do you still have the microSD card that works?
